AXIS-Q6035-E camera offers a rich viewing experience, providing clear video of movements and sharp details for identification purposes. The HDTV 1080p complies with the SMPTE 274M standard regarding a 1920x1080 pixel resolution, full frame rate at 25/30 frames per second, HDTV color fidelity and a 16:9 format.
AXISQ6035-E enables full frame rate video in HDTV 1080p, which provides more than twice the number of pixels compared with HDTV 720p. When the cameras use HDTV 720p, users get double the number of frames in a second (50/60 fps) for even smoother video. The cameras 20x optical zoom, in combination with the HDTV 1080p resolution, results in sharp and powerful zoomed-in views.
AXIS Q6035-E is powered using High Power over Ethernet, enabling easy installation. The camer connects to the supplied High PoE midspan with one network cable for carrying power, video and PTZ controls. The midspan is then connected to a switch.
The AXIS-Q6035-E, with IP66 and NEMA 4X ratings, is protected against rain, sun, snow and ice. Incorporating Axis' Arctic Temperature Control, the outdoor camera can start up even at -40 °C (-40 °F).

AXIS-Q6035 provides a fast pan/tilt speed of 450° per second, enabling the camera to get to a different viewing position very quickly.
The camera supports multiple H.264 and Motion JPEG video streams. H.264 greatly optimizes bandwidth and storage without compromising image quality.
The camera provides day/night functionality with an automatically removable IR-cut filter for clear video, even in low light conditions. The wide dynamic range functionality enables better visibility of objects in both dark and light areas of a scene.
The tour recording functionality in AXISQ6035-E enables easy setup of an automatic tour using a device such as a joystick to record an operators pan/tilt/zoom movements and length of time spent at each point of interest. The tour can then be activated at a touch of a button or at a scheduled time.
Active Gatekeeper enables AXIS Q6035-E to automatically move to a preset position-to zoom in, for instance, on a license plate-when motion is detected in a pre-defined area, and to track the detected object.
The camera is also designed with easy bayonet mounting to Axis' standard mounting accessories for ceiling, wall, pole or corner installations.
Intelligent video functions such as video motion detection, audio detection and applications supported by AXIS Camera Application Platform can be used as alarm triggers to activate recording and send notifications via e-mail, HTTP and TCP.
