With its standard 640 x 480 pixel (VGA) resolution, the Basler BIP 640C IP Camera is especially impressive not only for the high frame rates it can achieve by deploying an MJPEG encoder, but also by what it can realize with MPEG-4 and H.264 decoders.
The use of a high-performance CCD imaging sensor from Sony provides exceptional sensitivity for low-light conditions. And the exceptionally compact housing makes the BIP640C a convincing alternative to more conventional VGA network cameras.
