Cohu's 9920-Series is the latest generation of high performance H.264 video encoders and decoders added to the i-linxII family of products.
The 9920Series supports multiple codec options, including H.264, MPEG4, MPEG2 and MJPEG, allowing complete flexibility for choosing the optimum codec based on system requirements.
Standard features include one USB port, one CF memory slot, three serial
communication ports, bi-directional audio, two sensor inputs, two trigger outputs, one ethernet connection and one composite video input.
When video decoding capability is required, 9920 Series units can be user con? gured as a video decoder.
The 9920-Series provides advanced options for meeting the most demanding application requirements. These options include an extended operating temperature range or integrated 500GB video storage HDD.
The 9920Series provides two independent video streams, allowing unique configurations of video resolution, streamingmode, bit rate, frame rate, GOP and image settings, providing unmatched ?exibility for optimiz ing viewing, recording and network bandwidth utilization.
Using the intergrated web server, viewing, camera PTZ control and network setting management is available User authentication is required to prevent unauthorized connections to the 9920 Series.
When harsh operating temperatures are encountered, the 9920Series provides an extended temperature range option to insure continuous and reliable operation in extreme environment locations. In addition, industrial grade vibration resistance permits use in mobile application such as vehicles, trains, buses etc.
If on-board local video storage is desired, the 9920 Series can be fitted with a hard disk drive of 500GB, providing local recording without streaming video over a network.
The recorded video can be viewed directly from the camera site encoder, or downloaded for later viewing.
