The CRX Series Digital Video Recorders, in 9 or 16 channel configurations, come with a reliable Linux-embedded operating system and advanced MPEG4 compression technology. The pentaplex operation allows simultaneous video recording, monitoring, back-up, playback, and remote access. Remote monitoring and recording over IP networks or dial-up via an external POTS modem (using RS-232) allows central control of any camera as well as multi-user viewing and monitoring. The CRX Series has 4 channels of audio, 4 spot monitor outputs, three USB 2.0 (mouse supported), and has one channel text in for ATM or POS overlays that easily interfaces with the printer's serial port and provides search reports for analysis.
