The Electro-Voice PA series of compact commercial rack mount power amplifiers are designed for demanding sound reinforcement, background music/paging and public address system installations where long term reliability and flexibility is the ticket. These units are exceptional values, loaded with features and are easy to install in a variety of system designs. The models in the PA series range from 160 to 450 watts of power per channel in a compact 2RU package.
All models have a variety of features which enables them to be customized to a wide range of demanding commercial sound and audio reinforcement applications. The PA1250T, PA2250T and PA2400T all provide 70/100V output capability using low distortion output transformers for wide bandwidth and minimal saturation.
The PA-4150L input connectors are a 3pin phoenix style which provide balanced audio. The speaker outputs also feature convenient phoenix style quick disconnect terminals to facilitate pre-wiring of the installation. Built in rack mount ears and rear rack supports provide secure and convenient mounting.
A comprehensive 4 way protection package in every PA series amplifier helps protect the amplifier and speaker for reliable long term performance. The package provides complete protection for excessive temperature, audio limiters, power up delay and peak current limiters. All PA series models provide excellent headroom for a wide dynamic range on music signals. The PA 4150L onboard dynamic limiter protects the amplifier and speaker from dangerous transients.
All the PA amplifier models feature a low distortion amplifier design which can be bridged for more power flexibility in multi channel models. The physical chassis of the PA series is also designed for reliability. Ample internal cooling capacity ensures reliable operation. The PA series runs cool and stable with the direct flow thru chassis layout. The multistage cooling fan runs exceptionally quiet in all modes.
