AN/PVS-7B Night Vision Goggles use the latest image intensifier technology to enable the user to see at night or in low-light conditions. A built-in infrared light source provides additional invisible lighting to further enhance image clarity. Diopter focus adjustments on each eyepiece and a focus on the objective lens ensure a sharp image for all users, regardless of their eyesight.
AN/PVS-7B Night Vision Goggles are powered by two AA batteries, so they are lightweight and economical. Quick release fasteners make them easy to put on and take off, a neck strap holds them when they are not in use, and bright-light limitation and cut-off prevent the user from being blinded by headlights, flashlights, street lamps or other sources of visible light.
AN/PVS-7B Night Vision Goggles give users the ability to see in low-light or at night. An infrared light source is ideal for map reading, supplements available visible light and infrared light to create a bright image that is seen through separate eyepieces. Three focus adjustments, one on the central viewer and one on each eyepiece, ensure maximum resolution and clarity. A quick-release lever permits the AN/PVS-7B Night Vision Goggles to be mounted and dismounted from the head-strap in seconds with one hand.
Current US military issue, this single-tube night vision goggle is designed for use in starlight conditions permitting hands free operation. Powered by two AA batteries, the AN/PVS-7 has a quick release feature making it quick and easy to put on and take off.
