The Everfocus EDSR400M is 4 CH DVR that displays full screen or up to a 16 multi-screen display for monitoring and playback. This DVR has one 3.5" IDE hard disk and has 1 hot swappable hard drive capability. Additionally, this model is compatible with color and black and white camera units.
This digital video recorder can record in real time up to 60 IPS and has a real time playback that can be shown up to 60 pictures per second (NTSC) or 50 FPS (PAL). If you need audio for your surveillance, this model also has 2audio inputs along with 2 audio outputs.
The EDSR400M features MPEG4 compression. MPEG-4 compression technology provides enhanced recording capacity with an improved network image transmission speed while maintaining high image quality.
Sensitivity for each camera is adjustable and has an intelligent motion detection system that works great when you want a specific area to be programmed. The sensitivity of each camera can be adjusted with the intelligent programming features of this digital video recorder.
There is an alarm motion recording on this system. For instance, if your camera is pointed at a display case, you can adjust the settings so when there is movement within proximity of the case, an alarm for the cameras will trigger a recording event.
The Everfocus EDSR400M is a great half size DVR. This DVR features self-diagnostics technology. Self-diagnostics is helpful for system auto recovery after a power failure. This DVR is also capable of synchronizing video and audio.
The EDSR400M is rugged and was made for the mobile environment. This DVR is equipped with a Shock and vibration proof mounting kit.
