The Everfocus EQ550 Indoor Color Box Style Camera provides super high resolution. This surveillance camera has 560 TVL Super High Resolution and has an advanced 16-bit Digital Signal Processor (DSP) for excellent picture quality. This Everfocus Polstar Series camera features SENS-UP 128X slow shutter technology; it will capture images in almost complete darkness with super high sensitivity of 0.002lux.
This day/night security camera is a camera that has the capability of automatically switching between day and night modes of operation. This standard day/night surveillance camera records in color during the day and uses software to filter out unwanted infrared light. At night, the camera switches to black and white and stops filtering out the infrared light. This allows you to use infrared illuminators to provide additional illumination in areas that are dark at night.
The EQ550 has built-in Dynamic Noise Reduction (DNR) and offers a 70% savings of disk storage. DNR is the removal of unwanted artifacts in video material. Noise reduction works predominantly by comparing one frame to the next and then removing specks that are not the same in each frame.
In addition to several other great features, the EQ550 incorporates motion detection as well as a privacy masking feature. This dome camera enables you to observe movements of objects in 4 different places on the screen, the message "MOTION DETECTED" appears on the screen when movement is detected; therefore this helps to improve supervision efficiency. The camera detects an object's movement by sensing discrepancy of outline. The privacy mask allows the user to mask off areas that are not of interest.
The EQ550 has dual power options and incorporates a RS-485 port. The power options are 12VDC or 24VAC. The RS-485 port is for optional keyboard control.
