The Everfocus ESD200-N-4 is a Covert Color Camera disguised as a fake smoke detector. This discrete color camera uses a 1/3 Sony Interline Transfer Super HAD CCD with an electronic shutter and AGC feature that allows the camera to be operated in various light levels. The light sensitivity of the camera is 0.3 lux/f=1.2, which allows for easy viewing even in low light conditions.
The Auto Electronic Shutter (AES) or AGC is an automatic light-adjustment that can reduce glare and is used mostly on cameras that do not use auto-iris lenses. It is normally set to ON and it automatically adjusts the picture gain in according to the lighting. When it is set to OFF, some cameras will not automatically switch from color to monochrome when the light fades.
The ESD200-N-4 also features Backlight compensation (BLC) and auto white balance (AWB), which means the camera has AGC to correct the exposure when the object being captured is in front of a bright light.
The Everfocus ESD200-N-4 indoor covert color camera is a great discreet surveillance system. Additionally, the camera housing is a multi-camera housing. The ESD200-N-4 is the compatible additional camera for this unit.
