The Everfocus EZ220 provides 340 TVL of resolution with an advanced low lux 1/3" interline transfer CCD and a high light High sensitivity of 0.04 lux/F=2.0. This black and white Digital Signal Processing (DSP) camera can operate in various light levels, thanks to its high speed Auto Electronic Shutter (AES) and Auto Gain Control (AGC).
The Auto Electronic Shutter (AES) or Auto Gain control (AGC) is an automatic light adjustment that can reduce glare and is used mostly on cameras that do not use auto-iris lenses. It is normally set to ON and it automatically adjusts the picture gain in according to the lighting. When it is set to OFF, some cameras will not automatically switch from color to monochrome when the light fades.
The EZ180 is weatherproof and has and IP66 weather rating. The IP66 weather rating means that this camera is dust tight and can withstand heavy water jet spray. Additionally, this camera supports NTSC and PAL video formats and is easy to install.
