The Fujinon AH24X7BESM offers a perfect marriage of wide - angle and zoom features. This lens, already demonstrated in many TV stations, has enormous potential and high optical quality. It is the only EFP lens on the market which incorporates a micro-computer controlled "Floating Lens Group", a feature adopted from High Definition applications. To meet the needs of the next generation of digital broadcast technology, the AH24X7-BESM is now available with a new digital servo control system. The performance is optimized by connecting the zoom, focus and iris functions by high-speed serial communication and provides 13-bit accuracy in zoom and focus control.
The utilization of digital circuitry has made functions like Quickzoom and two shot preset available which greatly increase operational comfort. To receive natural imaging expressions whilst shooting dramatic productions the AH24X7 BESM automatically compensates the effect of zooming with focus. In addition to this, the zoom and focus characteristics can be selected according to actual production needs. The AH24X7BESM is equipped with a serial link for accurate positioning in virtual studios and other applications requiring digital precision.
