The GE Security GEC MP2 UltraView™ IP megapixel cameras are available in both 2-megapixel and 3-megapixel day/night models. A higher-resolution picture can make a big difference in security applications. Clearly read text, see a scene in crisp detail or enlarge images, and get higher resolution at a wider angle than traditional security cameras with the GECMP2 UltraView™ IP megapixel cameras.
No matter how sharp traditional security cameras are, some applications require a high-resolution image. In retail or gaming
environments, high resolution is a optimal choice for financial transaction monitoring. A high-resolution, wide-angle view can be
ideal to observe traffic or read license plates, boat names and other text from a distance. Get more than six times the resolution of
a traditional analog security camera with either a 3-megapixel high-resolution camera that switches from color to monochrome
in low light, or a 2-megapixel color camera.
The UltraView IP megapixel cameras transmit video at a higher frame rate than many megapixel security options. Get 24 frames
per second with the MP2 and 20 or 30, depending on resolution, with the MP3 camera.
View a sharp picture even in low light with the GEC-MP3-DN, which automatically moves from color to monochrome when light levels
drop. From bright sunlight to cloudy moonlight, images are sharp and easy to see.
The UltraView IP megapixel cameras are cost effective because they can replace multiple analog cameras. As well, they can run off DC
input or power over Ethernet and can be easily installed in any local or wide-area network. The megapixel cameras are compatible with
