The IMI Technology IMX4050FT, from the Nile 2 Series cameras are newly released digital cameras which are based on the IEEE1394b standard; and support up to 800 Mbps of data transmission, that is double that of the 400 Mbps of IEEE1394a cameras. The IMX 4050FT is comprised of a resolution of 652(H) x 484(V), in both color and B/W. Nile 2 Series cameras can be used for high end vertical applications, such as machine vision, ITS, medical and science etc.
All models use Sony progressive scan CCD sensors (1/3",or 2/3"). NILE 2 Series cameras provide excellent image quality, color rendition and a compact form factor, which afford versatility when space and weight are important considerations of an application. The Nile cameras also support an Auto Iris under DC control. All NILE Series cameras support external trigger modes 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 12, 13, 14 and 15 which are unique compared with cameras from other vendors. Every unit has passed a rigorous testing procedure to ensure reliability; even in mission critical applications.
