The VS24xl is a high-performance switcher for composite and balanced stereo audio signals. When configured as a stand-by switcher, The VS 24xl switches to input 2 when the signal on input 1 is interrupted.
VS-24XL features include:

Control - Automatic, front panel or contact closure.

Automatic Standby Switching (On/Off) - When enabled, any interruption of the input 1 signal (default), automatically switches input 2 to the output.

Desktop Size - Compact size. 2 units can be rack mounted side−by−side in a 1U rack space with the optional adapter.
