The Nitek IP & PoE Network Extender - Weatherproof Transmitter Unit ET1500UW is a transmitter that extends Ethernet and PoE for distances up to 600 meters (1,960 ft.) over standard category cable. Operates only with ER8500U or ER16500U Receivers.

The ET 1500UW IP video camera extender - Outdoor Transmitter is a network extender-PoE Inserter (EtherStretch) component. The ET1500UW includes a NEMA4X rated enclosure to house the transmitter. The weatherproof transmitter enclosure makes it possible to take the network outdoors to devices located in hostile environments.The ET1500UW operates with either an ER8500U or ER16500U 8 or 16 Port IP Extender/Gigabit PoE Switch Receiver Unit, to form a multi-channel IP extender system that transmits IP cameras or other network devices well beyond standard network limitations.The Nitek Ethernet Extender Systems can turn standard network cables into a high speed network communication & PoE paths. When operating over category cables, coax network extender system can operate for distances of up to 600 meters (1,960 feet).

ET-1500UW Transmitter is part of a system that operates in conjunction with either a ER8500C Eight Port Receiver or ER16500C Sixteen Port Receiver (these receivers are sold separately).The ET1500UW ethernet extender transmitter requires very little installation time & absolutely no set up or configuration. The ET1500UW ethernet is transparent to the network and has no IP or MAC addressing. Simply connect your network devices to the network ports of the transmitter along with existing cabling and the system begins communicating. LED indicators show the status of network communication and PoE power.
