With video being locally stored on the Ax516, storage loss can be avoided during network interruptions. Additionally, Ax516 encoder can be used as an IP Network video appliance for transmitting video over the LAN to i3 Digital Video Management Software (DVMS). The Ax516 storage capabilities enable it to function as a conventional stand-alone DVR as well as a high-quality video streaming encoder. Dual-streaming provides two independent streams per video input, allowing viewing and recording at two different quality levels to save disk space and bandwidth.
