The Vicon H264-16CH-ENCDR Network Encoder, a powerful device that is destined to make NVR network solutions the preferred choice for smaller and/or older installations with an installed base of analogue cameras. This encoder can integrate up to 16 analogue cameras into a ViconNet IP system at an incredibly low cost-per-channel, enabling the ViconNet VMS to deliver the full range of high-end features that apply to all encoded video streams. These include museum search, analytics, dynamic load balancing and automatic detection. Hundreds of cameras can be supported in a high- density solution simply by stacking multiple units within a 19” rack. Given these advantages and its low price-point, the 16-channel encoder makes NVR solutions the most sensible choice for obtaining hybrid system functionality.
