The SCD-3083 belongs to the 960H premium WDR analog camera series that provides 700TV lines resolution with user-friendly and value added functions such as a motorised varifocal lens, Day & Night, Privacy Masking, Digital Noise Reduction and Video Analytics (That includes Fixed / Moved, Area, Fence, Tracking, Detection, Counting). The SCD-3083 provides clear images under a variety of challenging environment conditions, making it a perfect and practical solution for anyone looking for a cost effective high performance video surveillance camera.

SCD-3083 features include:

  • WDR, VPS, Simple focus, SSNRIII
  • 2.8x motorized varifocal lens (3 to 8.5mm)
  • Built-in 1/3" (6mm diagonal) 520,000 pixel Sony color CCD sensor allows the camera to reproduce clear picture quality with a horizontal resolution of up to 700 TVL (665 TVL ±5%) in color ER mode and 700 TVL in B/W
  • High-sensitivity color CCD sensor provides a minimum illumination of 0.1 lux (50IRE, @F1.2), 0.0002 lux (Sens-up, x512) in color and 0.01 lux (50IRE, @F1.2), 0.00002 lux (Sens-up, x512) in B/W
  • SSNR3 (Samsung Super Noise Reduction III) Function: The high-performance SV-V DSP chip effectively removes low-light gain noise and afterimage to provide clear images even in dark environments
  • Day & Night: The camera automatically selects the mode that is appropriate for daytime or night-time conditions
  • The color mode operates in daytime conditions to provide optimum colors, and the B/W mode operates in night-time conditions to enhance the definition of the image
  • SSDR (Samsung Super Dynamic Range): For images with high contrast between bright and dark areas from difficult lighting conditions such as backlighting, the camera selectively illuminates darker areas while retaining the same light level for brighter areas to even out the overall brightness
  • Intelligent Video Analytics: Without the assistance from an external sensor, the camera independently detects and traces objects while examining stillness and movement to activate the alarm
  • Miscellaneous Image Enhancement Functions: HLC (High Light Compensation), Sens-up, reverse, D-zoom, sharpness, and privacy
  • Coaxial communication methods are supported via Pelco Coaxitron protocol
  • Convenient camera control with support for different foreign language on the OSD-English, Japanese, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Korean
  • WDR (Wide Dynamic Range): Thanks to the SV-V DSP chip, the camera delivers clear, high-quality pictures even when the scene is backlit, by adjusting exposure in dark and bright areas
  • VPS (Virtual Progressive Scan) function enhances the sharpness of a moving subject's outline and enables elective output in progressive mode using the existing interlaced input and effectively enhances the sharpness of captured pictures from video and still images; it also effectively removes blurred outline problems resulting in remarkable road monitoring and improved license plate recognition
  • Digital Image Stabilizer (DIS) function compensates for any camera movement to produce more stable pictures
