The Altronix Maximal35E provides system designers and installers with "maximum" power choices and the highest levels of versatility. It provides 12VDC, or 12VDC and 24VDC simultaneously via two (2) single output power supply/chargers. It includes AC fail, low battery and battery presence monitoring. Optional Altronix® field installable subassemblies provide multiple outputs and a wide range of features for specific Access Control and Fire Alarm applications.


Available Configurations Include:

MAXIMAL35FE 2 Power Supply/Chargers - One is selectable for 12VDC or 24VDC @ 6 amp and one is 12VDC @ 10 amp, non power-limited outputs, Features: Low battery cutoff, Over voltage protection (OVP), AC & battery monitoring, encl. 26"H x 19"W x 6.25"D accommodates a variety of Altronix modules for power distribution & control, 115VAC input, Accommodates up to 4 - 12VDC/12AH batteries, UL Listed (UL294), cUL Listed (ULC-S319-05), CSFM Approved.


MAXIMAL35E features include:

  • 115VAC 60Hz, 6.0 amp input.
  • 12VDC and/or 24VDC outputs.

  • A) 12VDC @ 6 amp plus 12VDC @ 10 amp
  • B) 24VDC @ 6 amp plus 12VDC @ 10 amp
  • Filtered and electronically regulated outputs (built-in power supply).
  • Thermal and short circuit protection with auto reset.
  • Power Supply input fuse rated @ 3.5 amp/250V.
  • AC fail supervision (form "C" contact).
  • Low battery and battery presence supervision (form "C" contact).
  • Built-in charger for sealed lead acid or gel type batteries.
  • Maximum charge current 0.7 amp per p/s board.
  • Automatic switch over to stand-by battery when AC fails.
  • Zero voltage drop when unit switches over to battery backup (AC failure condition).
  • AC input and DC output LED indicators.
  • Operating temperature: 0° C to 49° C ambient.
