An ultracompact body, measures 3.18 "(W) by 2.04"(H) by 1.67"(W). It can be incorporated into machines such as ATMs and small housings for various surveillance applications
The ICD-B3 features a 1/60 to 100,000 sec. AESC capability. Because sensitivity control is performed automatically to match illumination conditions, stable pictures can be secured, even without an auto-iris lens
A high-sensitivity CCD and AGC circuitry work together to yield a minimum subject illumination of 0.2 lux (lens: fl.4)
The camera has a built-in backlight compensation capability. In conjunction with AESC, it ensures proper images for backlight scenes
The ICD-B3 comes with the Mirror Image function to permit an image to be reversed as if in a mirror. Thus, it can be used as a back surveillance camera for vehicles and so forth
A line-lock, phase adjustable sync system is used so that stable pictures can be obtained even when multiple cameras are switched for surveillance

The ICDB3 is a multipurpose B/W camera of board type, employing a 250,000-pixel CCD imaging device. Because of its ultracompact body, it can be built into various types of machines, such as bank ATMS. In addition to a substantial reduction in size, multifunctionality is also achieved. It incorporates a rich assortment of functions required for today's surveillance cameras, including backlight compensation, AESC shutter, AGC, and much more. A new Mirror Image function is added to the ICD B3 to permit an image to be viewed with a reversal of right and left as it would appear if seen in a mirror. This is an ideally suited function as a surveillance camera for vehicles.
