The CM-140MCL-UV replaces the base sensor found in the standard monochrome model with the Sony ICX407BLA sensor, specially designed for UV sensitivity.

The UV model provides the same progressive scan operation with 1.4 million pixels resolution and Mini-CL interface, but offers extended sensitivity to below 200 nm.

The CM 140MCL-UV camera outputs 16 full frames/second in continuous (free-run) mode and up to 30 frames/second in external trigger modes. Higher frame rates can be achieved by using the partial scan or vertical binning modes.

As an option, the CM140MCL-UV camera can be ordered in a Power-over-Camera Link version (PoCL), eliminating the need for a separate connector for power.
