The JAI's CV-A2 is a 2 megapixel camera with a resolution of 1628 x 1236 and compact footprint of only 44 x 66 mm (width x length) at a height of 29 mm.

The CV A2 camera boasts a long list of new functions and features, including frame delay and smearless readout modes, and auto iris lens video output.

The CVA2 camera features RS 232C control of all camera settings including multiple trigger modes, programmable exposure, and auto shutter. The target market for this camera family is volume OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) and high level System Integrators for Automated Imaging applications (e.g. industrial/medical equipment).
