JVC DLA-SX21UH 3-Chip Projector

The DLA-SX21UH features a new optical engine based on D-ILA technology. New polarized beam splitters perform color separation of the light source by modifying polarization depending on the color. Red, green and blue (RGB) components are modulated by polarization with three D-ILA devices, each 1.5 million pixels. The RGB components are mixed together within the same optical device, minimizing dissipation in the light path, improving contrast ratio and eliminating dust exposure. The D-ILA optical engine produces flicker-free, smooth, film-like images with more realistic color, 1500 ANSI lumens and a virtually invisible pixel grid.
