The digital signal processing (DSP) Megapixel Super Dynamic color CCD cameras will be a Panasonic model WV-NP502. The WV-NP502 camera will incorporate a 1/3" progressive scan Megapixel Super Dynamic CCD, 2,530,000 [1296 (H) x 976 (V) x 2] pixels effective, with a microlens on each pixel for superior picture detail and clarity. The camera will have a minimum illumination of 1.0 lux color with 1.3 Megapixel mode or 2.0 lux color with 3 Megapixel mode.
The WV-NP502 camera's Megapixel Super Dynamic CCD will be charged with long and short charges, creating both standard shutter speeds and fast shutter speeds simultaneously, on a single image field. The Megapixel Super Dynamic CCD will automatically apply each exposure pattern to bright and dark areas. The Megapixel Super Dynamic CCD will feature images with a dynamic range of up to128 times with 1.3 Megapixel.
The camera will be capable of generating and transmitting images to meet the following specifications.
3 Megapixel Mode: JPEG: 2,048 x 1,536 / 1,280 x 960 / VGA (640 x 480) , up to 15 fps;H.264: 1,280 x 960 / VGA (640 x 480) / QVGA (320 x 240) , up to 15 fps; MPEG-4: VGA (640 x 480) / QVGA (320 x 240) , up to 15 fps; 1.3 Megapixel Mode: JPEG: 1,280 x 960 / VGA (640 x 480) , up to 30 fps; H.264: 1,280 x 960 / VGA (640 x 480) / QVGA (320 x 240) , up to 30 fps; MPEG-4: VGA (640 x 480) / QVGA (320 x 240) , up to 30 fps. Simultaneous JPEG and two independent; H.264 streams which are different resolution and bit.Or simultaneous JPEG and two independent MPEG-4 streams which are different resolution and bit.
The WV-NP502 camera will feature a Black & White mode that may be automatically engaged on low light level, permit the use of an external infrared illuminator or manually selected. The camera will incorporate independent automatic Color-to-Black & White switching modes for switchover on light threshold and sensitivity to IR illumination in the 850 nm wavelength. Each Color-to-Black & White switching mode will incorporate two switching threshold light levels, high and low. Each Color-to-Black & White switching mode will incorporate three duration settings for automated switchover.
The camera will feature a body-based automatic back focus mechanism (ABF) for automatic and remote back focus adjustment. The automatic back focus adjustment will engage and reposition the imaging assembly for optimal focus position, for delicate Megapixel camera focus adjustment on automatic or manual switchover from Day to Night Mode and on manual activation at the camera or remote from a web browser.
The camera will feature Adaptive Black Stretch to transform shadows and dark areas into natural and crisp images in real time. The camera will reproduce The camera will also feature intelligent digital back light compensation, digital wide dynamic range circuit, digital noise reduction and electronic sensitivity-up for real surveillance purposes under severe conditions. For better picture quality, the camera will feature digital 2H enhancer, digital aperture correction, knee circuit and digital white detective ATW. The camera will also offer a user-configurable AWC setting for white balance at a manual setting.
The camera will feature Face Detection to enhance details of faces for better identification.
The camera will have three external I/O Terminals which can support Alarm output or External Day/Night control or exposure out which is for external flash synchronizing.
The camera's built-in shutter will feature setting of off, 1/100, 1/250, 1/500, 1/1000, 1/2000, 1/4000 and 1/10000 sec. A web browser menu will allow fine adjustment of chrominance, pedestal and aperture level.
The camera will be able to support uni-cast and multi-cast transmitting.
The camera will have a built-in web server so that access to the IP video stream can be obtained using Internet Explorer Version 6.0 SP2 or better. The web browser will permit the user to make adjustments and settings to the camera.
Up to 11 other Network Cameras will be viewable simultaneously by the user, when connected to the Model WV-NP502 Camera without any additional software required.
The camera will have full duplex two-way audio feature and be capable of transmitting and receiving the audio stream through the same Ethernet connection as the video. The audio will be encoded using the G.726 or equivalent ADPCM standard.
The camera will provide an SD Card (SDHC) slot which can support a maximum of a 16Gbytes SDHD card that can cache images in the event of a network failure. The camera will also support manual recording to the optional SD Memory Card.
The Bandwidth Limit will be adjustable to 64/128/256/512/768/1024/2049/4096kbps or frame priority mode (4096kbps/unlimited).
The camera will be capable of being configured to automatically transmit alarm images transfer via FTP file transfer and/or e-mail. In addition the camera will support the scheduled transfer of image data via FTP to an FTP server.
The camera will support IPV4 and IPV6 network addressing.
Supported protocols: IPv4:TCP/IP, UDP/IP, HTTP, RTSP, RTP, RTP/RTCP, FTP, SMTP, DHCP, DNS, DDNS, NTP, and SNMP. IPv6: TCP/IP, UDP/IP, HTTP, RTP, FTP, SMTP, DNS, NTP, and SNMP.
