The Pelco TLR2168 is full-featured, versatile 168-hour time-lapse recorders designed for the most demanding security applications. Offering the widest range of usable record and playback modes in our line, the unit will perform flawlessly in almost any CCTV application. They are especially suited for multiplexer use. Their 7-day recording capability makes the unit the perfect choice for applications requiring continuous coverage over a long period of time with minimum tape changes.
The L18H hour mode uses triple density recording technology to increase the field recording rate. This means a field rate of 20 fields/second with 24 hours of recording time using T-160 VHS tape in the L18H mode for this unit. This is enough information for most critical recording applications. Audio capabilities are included in all these modes as well as the L24H mode.
VHS-compatible time-lapse modes available with the uint are L24H, 48H, 72H, 96H, 120H and 168H. All but the L24H mode are capable of both SP and EP (high density) recording modes for increased field recording rates using standard high quality VHS tapes. Programming menus appear on the monitor output to provide easy setup of any of the programmable features. Menus are even available with no active video input. A lock mode disables all front panel controls, preventing any changes to the unit's programming or operation.
