The PL-B873MU uses 2 megapixel Sony progressive scan sensor that provides a maximum image resolution of 1600 x 1200 with a frame rate of 15fps. A 1/1.8inch format. The enhanced sensitivity of the CCD sensor combined with low dark current, low smear and excellent anitblooming result in low noise images. Support for 8-bit, 10-bit and 12-bit digitization further improves image quality.
