The Sennheiser EM-1046-RX multi-channel receiver system represents the pinnacle of radio frequency (RF) wireless microphone technology, allowing each receiver module to be tuned to any of the 4,800 different frequencies available. Employing a modular design, up to eight receiver modules can be inserted into the rack mountable chassis. Each features a display that is programmable to read text or the frequency to which it is tuned. Bar graphs can indicate RF field strength, audio deviation, or battery strength transmitter. Each module has adjustable squelch and can be selected for monitoring via a headphone output. Several EM1046RX chassis can be linked together using a common antenna system for large multi-channel systems. Active antennas and boosters with selective RF filtering are available. The rear of the EM 1046-MF chassis houses modules for audio output, power supply, antenna input, antenna splitter and computer interface for use with Sennheiser's exclusive Remote Computer Control software.
