The Sony UPD72XR medical printer is a compact, high speed, black and white digital film imager. It's designed for use with diagnostic imaging systems, such as mobile c-arm units, ultrasound systems and cardiac cath labs.
This UP-D72XR digital film imager printer supports both 8x10 inch Blue Thermal Film and Thermal Printing Paper. This high resolution Sony printer offers photo-like film and prints with 512 levels of gray. By using its USB connectivity and compatible printer driver software, it can be used conveniently within a generic Microsoft Windows® environment. Additionally, the printer can be used for reference image printing by utilizing the FilmLink feature to connect it to the Sony FilmStation imager. This flexible connectivity delivers the ability to produce simultaneous reference prints. With a variety of other convenient features packed into its compact body, the UP D72XR digital film imager is ideal for a wide range of medical applications.
