The Vitek VT-EH16 EH Series 16 Channel Digital Recorder combines the latest H.264 Compression technology with stability and simple operation. H.264 Compression is the next generation of MPEG4 allowing up to 50% smaller file sizes for increased storage capability, resolution, and a more fluid internet transmission speed.
The Vitek VT-EH16 supports two internal SATA Hard Drives. The internal storage capacity options for this Digital Video Recorder are from 250GB up to 4TB. Central Management Software (CMS) and MAC client software is included.
Additionally, with the VT-EH16 remote viewing can be done over the Internet, LAN, Explorer, Safari, Foxfire, Opera (Blackberry) and Chrome. This DVR supports both dynamic and static IP addresses. The recording speed is 240 Images Per Second (IPS). Mobile technology support includes applications for iPhone, iPad, iTouch and Droid Devices.
The Vitek VT-EH16 can be controlled via supplied IR Remote control or remote client. Convenient front panel controls are also included. Full PTZ control is available from the front panel or remote connection and a wide number of speed dome protocols are supported. Protocols can be set individually for each channel and PTZ speed can be adjusted to suit particular speed domes.
Other features include Audio In (4ch)/Out (1ch) and this model can be backed up via Ethernet, File Transfer Protocol (FTP) or USB device. For Security this DVR features Watermarked for Video & Audio and Panic Record, which is an attribute that will over ride all other recordings when the Panic Emergency session is triggered.
