The Vitek MEG Series VT-HD2X8 DVR was designed with ease of installation in mind. There isn't any special knowledge of computer networks or IP technology required, which makes integration into any application easy! Additionally, a Computer Network is not required, no switch, no router, and no "IT Guy". Licensing fees per camera or per server are not required. This camera receives signal exclusively with the implementation of a Vitek HD-SDI Receiver/Recorder.
The Vitek VT-HD2X8 is a Versatile 2ch HD + 8ch D1 Hybrid. This MEG Series DVR features H.264 compression technology. Recording resolutions are 720p/1080p: 1920x1080, 1280x720, 640x360/D1: 704x480, 704x240, and 352x240. The main monitor outputs are HDMI and VGA.
The Vitek VT-HD2X8 has an easy to use Graphic User Interface with setup, archive, playback, and search. The user friendly graphic interface utilizes icons or visual indicators, which makes this a perfect HD digital video recorder for users from the novice to the expert.
Additionally this model supports multiple control inputs. The input options are mouse, front panel, IR remote controller and or keyboard. Multilingual support is another feature of this user friendly HD DVR. Mobile viewing is supported so it will be easy to check your home or business on-the-go from your PDA or Smartphone. This HD DVR is network ready with free DDNS.
This Vitek MEG Series HD DVR has live mobile archive for archiving video from a remote location, not to mention, mobile playback, and mobile search. Mobile playback and search allow user to search and view security images live, from anywhere with a mobile device.
The VT-HD2X8 can be controlled via supplied IR Remote control or remote client. Full PTZ control is available from the front panel or remote connection. Protocols can be set individually for each channel and PTZ speed can be adjusted.
Other features include Audio In (10ch)/Out (1ch) and this model can be backed up with USB, ODD, External HDD, and through a Network. Backup Formats are JPEG, AVI and NaFS. For Security this DVR features a Watermark attribute.
