This Camera Features the latest technology in signal processing by use of the Sony Effio DSP along with a 1/3" Sony High Density Exview CCD. The VTC-C770DN delivers 700 TVL of resolution with extremely low noise. This camera features an advanced On Screen Display (OSD) menu and True ICR Day/Night. A TRUE day/night camera is a more advanced type of day/night camera that uses an IR Cut Filter to provide the day/night functionality. Using an IR Cut Filter allows the camera to produce a much cleaner and brighter image in both day and night mode.
The On Screen Display (OSD) menu provides an intuitive and convenient interface for easy operation and can be utilized to control features such as motion detection and privacy zone masking. The integrated privacy zone masking attribute allows the user to mask off areas that are not of interest. Motion detection works by detecting an object’s movement by sensing discrepancy of outline
The VTC-C770DN incorporates 2-D noise reduction signal processing. The camera chip is constantly picking up noise from circuits and electronic components within it. Noise artifacts show up in images and or video as static, snow or fuzz. That is why this Vitek High resolution camera features 2D Digital Noise Reduction, which is an advanced Digital Noise Reduction (DNR) function. DNR is the removal of unwanted artifacts in video material. Noise reduction works by comparing one frame to the next and then removing specks that are not the same in each frame.
The Automatic White Balance setting controls the automatic adjustment of the light source's color temperature, which will adjust the picture's color to maintain the "best" image, it keeps white objects white.
The VTC-C770DN is also dual power. The power options are 12VDC or 24 VAC. This indoor high resolution camera is perfect for office or warehouse installations.
