Real Motion Time-Lapse Recording
The AG-RT650 features 8, 24, and 40- hour recording modes (with T160 tape), with Real Motion Time-Lapse recording in the 24 and 40 hour modes. In the 24-hour mode 20 fields are recorded every second. In the 40-hour mode 12 fields are recorded per second, providing for more detailed recordings than conventional 24-hour recordings with only 5 fields per second. This high density recording assures playback images nearly as smooth as standard play VHS, a valuable feature for applications where precise image inspection is required.

To help assure long term reliable operation, the AG-RT850 features Panasonic's advanced Z tape transport mechanism. The AG-TL500 recorder provides on-screen programming.The time and date for display as well as for control of selectable functions is generated by a built-in time/date generator. The unit displays a blue background for all non-recording modes. The unit has e a built-in RS-232C interface to make it suitable for use in computer-controlled systems. The unit has 3 recording modes: VHS, linear slow and time-lapse. The maximum capacity of the 3 modes, respectively, is 6 hours, 24 hours and 168 hours (1 week). The time-lapse mode does not allow sound recording but the other 2 modes shall. The unit includes a repeat record pass indicator, to count each complete pass of a tape and indicate when to replace a used tape.
The time-lapse recorder has connectors for video, audio, camera switchers and other video equipment. The time-lapse recorder is capable of controlling the timed switching on a sequential switcher. Industrial grade high density time-lapse field recorder is VHS and S-VHS compatible. The time-lapse recorder is built using a steel chassis with brushless direct drive motors and without belts for tape transport. Tape tension is controlled electronically, and the recorder has a built-in automatic head cleaner. The recorder delivers a horizontal resolution of more than 400 lines in color and 400 lines in black-and-white, provides on-screen programming, and is programmable without a camera connected. It provides limited programming on a built-in display without a video monitor.
The recorder has video heads for high density recording. 24 hour recording mode provides no less than 12 fields/sec. rate of recording, and a time-lapse recording capability of 960 hours and intermittent, one-shot recording capability of up to 900 days on a T-120 cassette. The time-lapse recorder has 5 alarm recording speeds and an alarm search feature. The built-in time/date generator has a 7-day timer and battery back-up of 30 days in case of a power failure. The unit has wire terminals for alarm in, alarm out, alarm reset, tape-end out, warning out and one-shot operation, and a record lock feature for security or unwanted tampering.

AG-TL350

The AG-TL350 has standard 2-hour and 6-hour VHS recording and provides 12-hour and 24-hour time-lapse (linear slow) recording. Another feature is audio recording in both time-lapse modes. In addition to 12-hour and 24-hour time-lapse recording, Event Recording is possible, with 8-second sections recorded every 4 minutes in 3d1 mode (2-hour) and with 22-second sections recorded every 4 minutes in 3d2 mode (6-hour). This allows recording over a 3-day period. Even with power switched off, or when the unit is set to the Stop position, Emergency Recording shall automatically start as soon as an external alarm signal is received. If an alarm signal is received during Time-Lapse or Event Recording, the unit shall automatically switch to Alarm Recording in the previously set mode (2- or 6-hour). The unit itself also provides an alarm. The Alarm Search/Recall feature shall find the latest of Alarm Recording, and switch to Pause. Alarm Recall allows you to check the date and time of the last six alarms recorded by using the on-screen display. When the Summer Time button is pressed, the time shall advance by 1 hour, and when pressed again shall return to normal.
Additional features include: Auto Alarm Reset, Daily and Weekly Timer Recording, External Timer Recording, Auto Repeat Recording/Auto Rewind, 1-Week Timer Back-up, Built-in Time-Date Generator, (AG-A11) Optional Wired Remote Control, Dual Mode Record Lock Function, LCD with Back Light, Hour Meter, Camera Switching Output, Auto Off Output and Tape End Output. Horizontal resolution (VHS-2-hour mode) is 240 lines (color), 300 lines (monochrome). The unit features a 4-video head system and high-speed
FF/REW (approx. 3 min./T-120 tape). The time-lapse field recorder shall feature Auto Head Cleaning, Noiseless Still and Forward/Reverse Field Advance. The unit is UL listed. Panasonic AGTL350 replaces the Panasonic AG6124
