The Panasonic AJ-D230H features low power consumption (45 Watts) and has analog inputs/outputs makeing it easy to dub or view DVCPRO tapes. This lightweight (15.4 lbs) unit make for easy one-hand carrying. The 25-pin RS-232C terminal allows remote control from a PC for nonlinear editing and production applications. It records 184 min. of high-quality component digital video and you can playback Mini-DV tapes through the AJ-CS750 adapter. The compact, desktop size allows two units to be side-by-side in a standard 19" rack. The forward/reverse search is 10x normal search. There is a 4-position audio output selector: channel 1/2/3/4 (for DV cassette playback)/CUE. It features built-in SMPTE time code generator/reader (VITC/LTC) and auto backspace editing (on/off). It has on-screen display for easy set-up and two 16-bit digital audio channels with 48 kHz sampling
