Sony FCB-S3000 3CCD Megapixel Color Block Camera
Description of Sony FCBS3000
Sony is introducing its first block 3CCD camera, the
FCB-S3000. With a 3-chip Megapixel camera system, this camera features
superb picture quality that provides precise color reproduction and
high-resolution images (530 TV lines) in both 4:3 and 16:9 modes. The
FCB-S3000 block camera supplies outstanding performance and improved image
quality compared to 1 CCD block color cameras. Incorporating 1/4.7 type
Advanced HAD™ CCD technology and the use of 14-bit digital processing,
this 3-chip camera drastically reduces the noise commonly seen across dark
areas of an image compared to conventional cameras. It is also are
equipped with a variety of convenient features such as a high-speed serial
interface, RS-232C/TTL control, 12x optical zoom, slow shutter and more.
High picture quality and feature-rich functions make the FCB-S3000 3 CCD camera
ideal for demanding applications such as video conferencing, traffic
monitoring, document stands and photo booths, where 16:9 displays are
becoming common place.
