Description of DALSA Genie HM-1400

The Genie HM1400 combines DALSA's expertise in image acquisition with their long experience in camera technology and state-of-the-art transmission technology. The Genie series of cameras are compact, rugged, digital Gigabit Ethernet (GigE) camera designed specifically for industrial imaging applications. Their compact size allows easy integration into virtually any image processing system.

The Genie HM-1400 camera is based on high quality, highly sensitive CCD and CMOS sensors and is available in a variety of resolutions ranging from VGA to 1600x1200 in both color and monochrome versions. Because the Genie is based on Gigabit Ethernet technology, transmission distances of up to 100 m are possible using standard CAT-5e and CAT-6 cables, and with the use of switches, unlimited distances are possible.

Using the well-known Sapera SDK and the included Genie software, the Genie HM 1400 camera can be very easily configured and integrated into any application.
