Description of Kenrik KR3016AR
The Kenrik KR3016AR 16 CH UTP Video Receiver is a premium quality 16-channel active receiver that accepts real-time color or black and white CCTV video over unshielded twisted pair (UTP) cable from any passive balun up to 3,000 feet away. The Kenrik KR3001PB, (or any) passive balun from the far end (camera) is needed to send live video over UTP to the near end receiver. The Kenrik KR3016AR
16 Channel UTP Video Receiver resulting fiber-grade video output from the receiver has been designed with Cat5e (or better) cable expectations, although Cat3 through Cat5 cable will still produce quality video, only from shorter distances.
On the Kenrik KR3016AR 16 CH Active UTP Video Receiver's front panel, a 5-position single-screw adjustor as well as an LED video indicator is provided to ensure properly working video for each channel independently. On the
Kenrik UTP Active Receiver's rear panel, the 100-ohm video enters the unit by connecting the UTP cable to one of the detachable screw terminals. After the video signal is fully equalized, amplified and balanced, the resulting quality video exits from the corresponding male BNC connector at its expected 75-ohm 1Vp-p rating.
One major difference with this Kenrik KR3016AR 16 Channel
Active UTP Video Receiver is that it eliminates any 50/60 Hz power voltage and corresponding harmonics, as well as any other interferences like AM radio stations, short wave, amateur radio, and noisy RF interference sources picked up by the UTP cable; making this ideally suited for the more difficult installations.
The Kenrik UTP Active Receiver's video is then compensated (equalized) for losses in the UTP cable up to 3000 feet (914 m) long. It delivers NTSC, PAL or SECAM analog video at the standard 75-ohm level to a BNC output.
The Kenrik KR3016AR 16 Channel UTP Video Receiver can be powered with a wide range of AC transformers or DC power sources (from 10.5-24VAC,40VA or 10.5VDC –29W) (PSU not included). With isolated power, surge protector, In rush current regulator and under-voltage lockout, this unit has been built to be both flexible and durable to accommodate nearly any system design. As an added measure, this receiver has an internal fan to ensure you can stack units in a rack system instead of having to alternate in 1u increments.
