Description of NVT NV 1662

The NV-1662 is a 16-channel active (amplified) distribution amplifier device that allows the transmission of real-time monochrome or color video on up to one mile (1,6km) using Category-2 or 3 Unshielded Twisted-Pair (UTP) or up to 1.5 miles (2,4km) NTSC using Category-5 or better. Available with screw terminal video inputs.

The 16-channel distribution amplifier hub NV1662 features dual outputs/channel for large high-density applications. 1U rack-mountable active receiver distribution amplifier hubs provide signal conditioning in the form of ground-lifting, distance EQ, and transient protection.

Full-motion CCTV video at distances up to 3,000ft (1km) when used with any passive NVT transceiver or hub; 5,280ft/1 mile (1,6km) when used with NV-653T transmitter and Cat-2 or 3 wire; 8,000ft /1.5 miles (2,4km) NTSC when used with NV-653T and Cat-5 or better
16-channel hubs have dual outputs/channel
Available with screw terminal video inputs
High-Density 19" 1U high enclosure for all four models
Compatible with qualified OEM cameras
Built-in transient protection & ground lifting
Built-in sharpness and brightness controls; Green Active LED for each port
Includes 2-foot (60cm) coax jumper cables & rackmount hardware US
