Description of NVT NV 1672

The NVT NV-1672 is a 16-channel active (amplified) hub that allows the transmission of real-time monochrome or color video for distances up to one mile (1,6Km) using Category-2 or Unshielded Twisted-Pair (UTP) wire. The Receiver hub NVT NV1672 continuously and automatically compensates for cable attenuation, ground-loops, and wiring polarity, independent of video signal image. The 1U high hub features two outputs per channel for high-density distribution amplifier applications, and is equipped with multi-stage transient protection.

1.5 miles (2,4km) NTSC when used with NV-653T active transmitter and Cat-5 or better
Two Distribution amplifier video outputs per channel
Supports screw-terminal or RJ45 UTP video inputs (NV-RJ45A)
High-Density 19” 1U high enclosure
Compatible with qualified UTP cameras
Built-in transient protection and ground lifting
Includes sixteen 2-foot (60cm) coax jumper cables, rack mount hardware and four NV-RJ45A adaptors
