Sony's superslim 3.25-inch deep, 42-inch plasma featuring high-resolution 1024 x 1024 display. Sony's PFM series is ideal for corporate, educational, production, information or entertainment applications. Great for Multimedia Built-in, high-performance scan converters provide the ability to handle various signal inputs, including NTSC 4.43, PAL 60, 1080/24psf, 1080/50i, 575/50p, 480/60p, 1080/60i, 720/60p, VGA, SVGA, XGA, SXGA and UXGA signals, with a sampling rate of 13.5 MHz to 140 MHz. Ready for public display Anti-reflection coating on the glass panel reduces light reflection, while up to 20 picture settings can be saved and named individually for optimal quality across programs. A 24-hour on/off timer can be set for applications that require the monitor to be turned off automatically. And, a screen saver is available for applications that do not require constant video on the screen. The PFM-42B1/H and PFM-42B1/S 42" (viewable area, measured diagonally) plasma monitors are Sony's slimmest and lightest units at 3.25 inches and 65.5 pounds. Showcasing a high resolution picture at 1024 x 1024 pixels and a bold new design, the new plasma monitors are available in two bezel colors - charcoal gray and brushed silver. The monitors are extremely versatile - from the layout-free design to the range of input signals they can handle.
