The PixeLINK PL-B686MF is a high performance microscopy camera designed to capture highly detailed, publication quality images. The PixeLINK PLB686MF features a 6.6 megapixel sensor and can provide 5 frames per second at full resolution, or 88 frames per second at VGA resolution. The PixeLINK PL B686MF is both TWAIN and IIDC 1.31 (DCAM) compatible.
Coupled with PixeLINK Capture SE software, the PixeLINK PL-B686MF becomes a highly productive image capture tool for bright-field microscopy. Features that compliment the functionality of the camera such as annotation and measurement tools, image enhancement controls, and a database to manage and archive captured images are all standard in Capture SE.
Additional functionality can be found in Capture OEM, a free download provided by PixeLINK designed to showcase the full functionality of the PixeLINK PLB686MF. Capture and save AVI movies, set user-defined Region of Interests (ROI), and save descriptors to either the host system or the camera itself is made simple.
