Description of Sanyo PLC XF42

Through its new high-contrast optical system, the PLC-XF42 is able to achieve an outstanding contrast ratio of 1,100:1. A 10-bit digital gamma correction circuit is employed to effectively suppress overwhelming whites in bright images and excessive blacks in dark images. Utilizing four high-output 250 watt UHP lamps as its light source, the PLC XF42 delivers an incredible 9000 ANSI lumens of brightness. A newly developed liquid crystal panel with an optical compensator that creates linear polarization, together with improved optical block cooling system, gives the PLCXF42 the capability of being operated on a 24/7* basis.
