Description of Sanyo PLV HD100
The PLV HD100 provides 24P capability for film playback situation and utilizes three true high definition resolution (1920x1080) LCD panels to reproduce high definition sources as they were meant to be seen. Through its new
high-contrast optical system, utilizing micro lens technology, the PLVHD100 is able to achieve an outstanding contrast ratio of 1000:1. A micro lens is integrated into each individual pixel on the three LCD panels increasing light efficiency, resulting in significantly brighter images.
The PLV-HD100 delivers an incredible 5500 ANSI lumens of brightness by utilizing four high-output 250 watt UHP lamps as its light source. It also provides superior color purity with SANYO’s 6500º K color temperature optical system and superb HDTV image performance through a newly developed 12-bit Progressive Scan integrated circuit. As a result of 30-bit color processing (10bit each for R/G/B), 2-3 pulldown and 1080i to progressive conversion, the reproduction of moving images is highly improved.
