Description of Sanyo PLV HD150
The PLV HD150 utilizes three true high definition resolution (1920x1080) LCD panels that reproduce high definition picture quality from various sources and has 24P capability for film playback, as well as 60P capability for computer graphics (60P capability only through DVI input).
Through its new High-Contrast Optical system that utilizes micro lens technology, the
PLVHD150 is able to achieve an outstanding contrast ratio of 1000:1.
Utilizing four high-output 300-Watt UHP lamps as its light source, the PLV-HD150 delivers an incredible 7000 ANSI lumens of brightness and features a lamp management system that monitors and displays the status of each lamp and cumulated usage hours on screen. When full brightness is not required, two of those lamps can be switched off as desired. Also, if a lamp expires while either four or two lamps are in use, the Fail-Safe Operation feature automatically switches to the matched pair of good lamps.
The PLV HD150 provides superior color purity with SANYO’s
6500º K color temperature optical system and its superb HDTV image
performance is achieved through a newly developed 12-bit Progressive Scan
Integrated Circuit. As a result of 30-bit color processing (10bit each for
R/G/B), 2-3 pulldown, and 1080i to progressive conversion, the reproduction
of moving images is remarkably improved.
