Sanyo Security Video introduces a high-resolution version of the popular day/night CCTV camera. The new VCC-4374 boasts more than 470 lines resolution and, like the VCC-4324, is a sophisticated CCTV camera that captures crisp color images, and then automatically switches to black-and-white mode as light decreases. In the presence of IR, when no light is available, the camera will switch to IR mode. The VCC-4374 camera accomplishes this with an intelligent microprocessor that automatically controls switching, sensing modes to maintain the highest resolution and picture quality under the widest range of lighting levels. The VCC-4374 camera is ideal for unmanned applications such as an ATM machine where the light varies from hour-to-hour. The camera intelligently compensates for the light changes and will automatically switch to black-and-white as the day progresses into evening.

The most advanced technology is incorporated in this camera which provides superior picture quality. The camera pairs a low signal-to-noise ratio of 48dB with a 1/3" 410,000 pixel CCD. The built-in backlight compensation allows minimum subject illumination down to 0.07 lux black-and-white and 0.00 lux under IR conditions.

Other features include the ability to manually switch between black-and-white and color with external control. The camera accepts CS-mount type lenses. The VCC-4374 is powered with 24V AC, 60 Hz type.

• User programming offers the choice of color to black and white change over. The VCC-4374 can be programmed to maintain color down to minimum lighting levels, or switch to black and white at higher light levels for a more noise free picture.

• External control for color to black and white switching offers the ability to override camera programming when greater sensitivity is required.

• Operates under non-visual infrared lighting conditions. The VCC-4374 responds to infrared lighting out to 930 nanometers, or under completely covert conditions.

• 24 Volt A.C. power supply with line lock power for system interface.

• Internal setting for video and DC type lenses.
