Extron offers several software solutions to help you manage, control, and configure a wide selection of Extron products. All Extron software products are Windows® compatible and downloadable from Extron's Web site at no charge (except Shoot-Out software and DVE Professional).

Various Types Available:

Test & Measurement Software: Test & Measurement software is used to test, reference, evaluate, and/or troubleshoot A/V products and systems.

IP Link Software: Extron provides a free, full-featured suite of IP Link software designed to help you maximize the value and potential of IP Link-enabled products. IP Link software includes the GlobalViewer™ Web application, the Global Configurator, the DataViewer, the IP Link File Manager, the IP Link Manager, and the IR Learner™.

Control Software: Extron control software primarily enables users to configure and control Extron products via RS-232. Control software is provided for many of Extron's switchers, scalers, interfaces, and assorted powered products.

Device Drivers: Extron drivers enable various Extron products to effectively communicate with a specific display device, and are created using display-specific IR or RS-232 commands. Drivers are available for Extron system switchers and certain MediaLink Controllers. Serial and IR drivers are also available for the IP Link family of products. If the driver you need for a product is not listed on the Extron Web site, please contact your Extron Customer Support Representative.

Firmware: Firmware updates for Extron switchers, IP Link Ethernet control interfaces, and MediaLink products are made available for download as they are released. Installation and update instructions are included.
