Auto Iris-Direct Drive-3MP Lens

PREVIEW (rollover to view)

DESCRIPTION
Pelco's 13M Series megapixel varifocal lenses are a new class of lenses specially designed to provide optimal results when used in cameras with megapixel sensors. These lenses enable megapixel cameras to realize the high resolutions that standard lenses cannot deliver, with a resolving power of up to 100 lines per millimeter. These lenses provide excellent image quality at both the center and at the corner of the image.

The 13M Series offers versatility and flexibility in a compact package. Each auto iris lens covers a specific range of focal lengths, so you can adjust the lens to achieve the exact field of view instead of "almost the right view."

Appropriate for indoor and outdoor lighting situations, the 13M Series lenses will fit all 1/3-inch CS-mount cameras requiring DC drive auto iris lenses. The lenses also include a spot filter. A factory-installed square 4-pin plug is standard for ease of installation.

Lenses in this series are available in 2.7X, 2.8X, 3.3X, and 4.3X zoom with varying focal lengths.

Designed especially for low-light capability, Pelco's 13M Series lenses are extremely fast. These lenses provide excellent performance across a wide range of lighting conditions. The 13M Series also provides excellent day/night performance in Pelco SarixÖ cameras that are capable of this function, which includes operation with IR lighting and visible lighting.

The 13M Series lenses have a slip mechanism that allows it to be easily adjusted and oriented inside enclosures, domes, and so forth. In addition, the metal mount makes for a robust and secure attachment to cameras.

Pelco 13VDIR Auto Iris-Direct Drive-IR Corrected Lens
Pelco
Pelco 13VDIR
Auto Iris-Direct Drive-IR Corrected Lens

PREVIEW (rollover to view)

DESCRIPTION
The purpose of Pelco's 13VDIR Series is to compensate for the focus shift that results from the different wavelengths of visible and IR light. IR corrected lenses focus light energy on the same plane. The result is better focus, sharper contrast, and better overall image quality.

IR corrected lenses are particularly of benefit to Pelco's day/night cameras, which "see" both visible and IR light. IR corrected lenses allow a camera's imager to take in visible and IR illumination in "night" conditions (when the IR cut filter is not deployed), while eliminating the problem of IR focus shift.

Appropriate for indoor and outdoor lighting situations, the 13VDIR Series lenses will fit all 1/3-inch CS mount cameras requiring DC drive auto iris lenses. Lenses in the 13VDIR Series come with a standard square 4-pin plug installed for ease of installation and convenience.

Lenses in this series are available in 2.8X (13VDIR3-8.5), 3.9X (13VDIR2.8-11), and 6.7X (13VDIR7.5-50) zoom with varying focal lengths.

Maximum and minimum apertures for these lenses are f1.4 ~ f2.6 (13VDIR2.8-11), f1.0 ~ f1.6 (13VDIR3-8.5), and f1.3 ~ f1.8 (13VDIR7.5-50). This allows for excellent performance characteristics across a wide range of lighting conditions. These lenses have aspheric elements, which provide crisper, optimized images at all focal lengths.

Pelco
Pelco C20 SERIES
High Resolution Color, Day/Night with WDR Camera

PREVIEW (rollover to view)

DESCRIPTION
The C20-DW Series is Pelco's full-featured digital day/night wide dynamic range (WDR) CCD camera. Its WDR technology provides 120 dB dynamic range and produces superior images over a range of lighting conditions, including extreme backlight conditions. Its day/night technology provides outstanding performance in low lighting conditions. The camera uses a removable infrared (IR) cut filter to switch between color and black-white (B-W) modes as environmental lighting conditions change and as the need for infrared sensitivity is realized.

The C20-DW Series is an ultra high resolution digital camera with 650 TVL of resolution and 0.13 lux minimum illumination. Camera features include autosensing power (24 VAC or 12 VDC with AC line lock or internal synchronization) and automatic gain control (AGC). The C20-DW Series includes automatic white balance (AWB) for difficult lighting situations, digital noise reduction, and backlight compensation (BLC) that adjusts the picture to prevent objects from appearing dark due to a strong backlight. The C20-DW Series also uses slow electronic shutter technology to improve the illumination performance for low-light environments.

The C20-DW Series has built-in analytical capabilities including privacy zones, motion detection, and camera titles that add to its functionality. These fine-tuning features are easily set using the on-screen menus.

The C20-DW Series is quick and easy to install. The camera is also featured in Pelcoĺs DomePak« and ImagePak« fixed camera dome/enclosure packages. The optional C10-UM wall/ceiling/rail mount kit offers easy installation in many nonenclosure applications, for all models.

The C20-DW Series has a standard CS lens mount and can be used with fixed, manual, or auto iris (DC drive) lenses. The iris is controlled through a standard 4-pin square connector that is included on all Pelco auto iris lenses.

On-screen configurable menus can be accessed locally using the rear panel button or remotely using any Pelco controller with Pelco D or Coaxitron« protocol. Use these menus to select a specific profile, to customize and save camera settings for the specific application, and trigger alarm out functions.

The C20-DW Series is equipped with configurable alarm in and alarm out functions for external devices such as IR lighting control, wiper operation, and local alerting upon alarm of an external device. The C20-DW Series from Pelco is ideal for critical security applications requiring the best analog images in all types of lighting and system configurations.

Pelco CAMCLOSURE 2 IS20/IS21 SERIES
Indoor Fixed Mini Domes Camera

PREVIEW (rollover to view)

DESCRIPTION
The IS20/IS21 Series Camclosure« 2 Camera System integrates a camera and lens package into a small, versatile indoor enclosure that can be mounted directly to, or recessed into, a ceiling or wall. The IS20/IS21 Series features a three-axis camera and lens positioning system that is capable of a wide variety of pan and tilt angles.

The IS20/IS21 Series offers three high resolution camera options suitable for a variety of indoor environments:

Super Dynamic 5 (SD5)Ö day/night wide dynamic range (WDR): Features a high resolution (650 TVL) color camera with auto iris, varifocal lens, and auto back focus. Application examples include environments with difficult lighting that require extremely high sensitivity and dynamic range.
True day/night: Features a high resolution (540 TVL) color camera with auto iris and varifocal lens. Application examples include environments that require color images during the day but use monochrome images at night with or without supplemental IR lighting.
Color: Features a high resolution (540 TVL) color camera with auto iris, simple day/night functions, and varifocal lens. For use in all general-purpose environments.

All cameras in the IS20/IS21 Series offer adaptive black stretch (ABS) to provide optimal image quality in dark areas by increasing the visibility in those areas without sacrificing the image quality in brighter areas. In addition, in some cameras the IS20/IS21 Series features Super Dynamic 5 (SD5) technology, ensuring the best picture quality even in challenging environments. The Super Dynamic 5 (SD5) day/night WDR camera is equipped with auto back focus (ABF) and intelligent motion detection (i-VMD).

The ABF feature automatically adjusts the cameras CCD position when installing or changing from color to black-white mode, saving time during setup and optimizing focus. The i-VMD feature is an intelligent built-in video motion detector that provides more efficient and reliable surveillance, while eliminating the loss of notification in vital scenes. Using advanced motion analytics provides the ability to accurately detect motion within a targeted area. The i-VMD analytics include three behaviors: motion detection, object abandonment/removal, and scene change detection.

The IS20/IS21 Series is shipped completely assembled, making installation fast and easy. To surface-mount the unit, remove it from the box, attach it to the mounting surface, and connect video and power. For recessed installations, use the supplied mounting bracket to install the unit inside a ceiling or wall.

The IS20/IS21 Series also features a complete line of optional mounting accessories. Optional pendant and wall mounts are available for all models, which allow the cameras to be adapted for a variety of installations. In addition, the flush mount kits allow surface mount cameras to be installed in a ceiling if the installation type should change after the original deployment.

Pelco CM6700-SERIES 16 Input Cross-Point Matrix Switcher/Controller
Pelco
Pelco CM6700 SERIES
16 Input Cross-Point Matrix Switcher/Controller

PREVIEW (rollover to view)

DESCRIPTION
The CM6700 Series Matrix switcher/controller is a very affordable, highly versatile, full-featured cross-point matrix switcher. The CM6700 Series provides switching and control for 16 video inputs and up to 4 monitor outputs from any one of up to 8 keyboards.

The CM6700 Series Matrix switching unit is designed to be remotely operated from desktop keyboards or external computer systems.

The versatile mounting system allows for a variety of installation options: either in a 19-inch rack (front or rear mount), wall, or shelf mount. This versatility allows the bulk of the video cables to be routed to a convenient area such as a telephone room instead of the operator location.

Straightforward on-screen menus make configuring the CM6700 Series simple and easy. (The CM6700 Series even lets you switch to Spanish-language configuration menus.) The user-enabled character display shows time and date, operation mode, camera number, and a 20-character title for quick, easy identification of the on-screen video. The display characters are white with black outline for viewing under varying lighting conditions. The display can be located anywhere on the viewing monitor and can be turned on or off.

The CM6700 Series supports two system macros, or salvo sequences, to allow quick call-up of up to four cameras to four monitors simultaneously. Salvo sequences include preset call of suitably equipped (PTZ or dome) receivers.

When an alarm is received, the CM6700 Series will switch the camera for that alarm to the selected monitors. If a PTZ function is being performed when an alarm is received, an alarm-pending message will appear. An alarm will automatically call a preset and preposition a camera with suitable (PTZ or dome) receivers. Alarms are cleared either by keyboard acknowledgment or timeout after contact deactivation. Two extra alarm inputs allow for alarm-activated salvo sequence call-up. A Form C alarm relay output allows for automatic activation of an alarm event recorder or other device. In addition, this relay is manually controllable from the system keyboard.

DESCRIPTION
The CM6800 Series Matrix switcher/controller is a very affordable single box solution for medium-sized matrix switch applications. This fully integrated package offers a highly versatile, cross-point matrix switcher. The CM6800 Series provides switching and control from any one of up to 10 keyboards. The system can also be used to control other devices, such as Genex« multiplexers.

The CM6800 Series provides easy-to-use, password-protected, on-screen configuration menus. Eight languages are supported.

The CM6800 Series is designed to be remotely operated from desktop keyboards or external computer systems. Configuring the system is easy using on-screen menus and a system keyboard or the Windows«-based system management software. The manager software allows for remote configuration and external storage of all user setups.

The user-enabled character display shows time and date, operation mode, camera number, and a 20-character title for quick, easy identification of the on-screen video.

The CM6800 Series supports powerful system macros (32) and configurable sequences (16), which allow activation of commonly occurring events based on time/calendar or alarms. Macros provide quick call-up of multiple cameras to multiple monitors.

Macros can also activate preset positions and auxiliaries on suitably equipped (PTZ or dome) receivers; and activate external relays to turn on lights, lock doors, or control other auxiliary functions (additional equipment may be required).

Built-in video loss detection alerts operators or technicians of camera failure. Logical camera numbering provides the ability to assign any camera number to the physical input. An integral color bar generator allows the user to adjust monitor settings.

With the CM6800 Series the system manager can select from a wide variety of alarm handling and display options. An alarm can trigger a macro, preset, or pattern, and alarmed cameras can be displayed on one or several monitors. There are also choices for the order in which alarms are displayed, alarm priorities, automatic or manual acknowledgement, and activation of auxiliaries.

Multiple ports are provided for PTZ control and keyboards. A single data line, using Pelco M protocol, can accommodate various types of equipment, such as keyboards and external alarm interface units. RS-232 ports allow for communication with a PC. Pelco DSSRV Digital Sentry Network Video Recorder
Pelco
Pelco DSSRV
Digital Sentry Network Video Recorder

PREVIEW (rollover to view)

DESCRIPTION
    OPTIMIZED FOR VIDEO SURVEILLANCE
The new Digital Sentry« network video recorder (NVR) is optimized by Pelco to deliver the essential hardware support for the DSSRV video management software (VMS) without the extra cost or risk of integrating hardware and software.

Boosted by the 2nd Generation Intel« CoreÖ i7 processor and 8 GB of RAM, Digital Sentry NVR provides an optimal combination of processing power and reliability to meet the demands of HD video recording and playback operations. The system is powered to support up to 128 combined IP and analog video streams, with up to 64 analog cameras supported via the optional ENC5416 direct-attached encoder. Analog streams are also supported using Pelco and third-party encoders.

The new DSSRV delivers total available throughput of 280 Mbps for recording of analog and IP video streams as well as playback and export through the DS ControlPoint client. When determining the maximum number of cameras and the desired frame rate to host on each system, the number of concurrent client connections, the number of streams likely to be viewed in playback on each client, and the bandwidth required to support the client connections must be taken into consideration.

The DSSRV functions as a stand-alone system or as part of a network of servers, monitored from the DS ControlPoint user interface. The system can be deployed solely as a network video recorder, as a digital video recorder (DVR), or as a hybrid NVR.

Two gigabit network ports provide for convenient network architecture planning by allowing one port to be dedicated to IP cameras, while the second network port is used for client connections. Two DVI-D ports provide a convenient connection for high resolution digital monitors for use with HD cameras.

    RELIABILITY
With front-available drives for easy servicing and upgrades, the DSSRV is available with up to 18 TB for models without the optional optical disk drive (ODD), or up to 12 TB for ODD models. The drives are hot-swappable when configured for internal RAID 5 storage with the optional RAID 5 controller card. A minimum of three drives is required for a RAID 5 configuration. External storage is supported through USB attached storage or by using the optional DSSRV-SCSI interface card connected to DX8100HDDI storage of up to 24 TB. The external storage can be configured for JBOD storage of software controlled RAID 5. Internal RAID 5 storage cannot be used in conjunction with external storage.

Front panel LED displays on the DSSRV provide heads-up information on system operation. The LEDs are integrated with the new Digital Sentry System Information (DSSI) utility, providing critical, real-time statistics on system resource utilization, temperature, and throughput status.

    OPEN ARCHITECTURE (Diagram)
The cornerstone of Digital Sentry design, a fully Open Architecture, is provided through ONVIF compliance and support for a large number of IP-specific drivers. Users can choose specific IP cameras or encoders to fit their application.

Eliminate the risk of deferred support that comes with VMS software from one vendor and a general purpose hardware platform from another. Replace it with the assurance of an integrated platform built specifically for the rigors of IP video recording. Make the performance, reliability, and Open Architecture of DSSRV running on DSSRV the core foundation of your video management solution.

The following table describes the DSSRV and DSSRV-DVD model numbers. For example, the model number for a 12 TB, DSSRV device with a United Kingdom power cord is DSSRV-120-UK. The model number for a 6 TB, DSSRV-DVD device with an Australian power cord is DSSRV-060DVD-AU.

    1. The minimum configuration for an internal RAID 5 is three hard disk drives. One hard disk drive of the RAID 5 configuration is used for parity, reducing net storage capacity by the value of one hard disk drive.
    2. Requires an optional DSSRV-RAID controller card. The internal RAID 5 requires reimaging of the system with the recovery DVD (supplied). Non-DVD units require reimaging from a bootable 8 GB USB key (not supplied).
    3. While the DS ControlPoint client can be run at the server, doing so can impact performance of the DSSRV. For optimum performance, run DS ControlPoint at a client station.

Pelco
Pelco DX4104 SERIES
4 Channel DVR with H.264 at 120IPS Recorder

PREVIEW (rollover to view)

DESCRIPTION
The DX4104 Series digital video recorder (DVR) is the next generation of an affordable entry-level DVR. The unit is designed for the entry-level market that requires one to four camera inputs, powerful video storage management with efficient H.264 compression, multi-event recording, quick and easy to use graphical user interface (GUI), internal storage capacity up to 2 TB, and remote client connectivity to as many as 100 DX4104 Series units. The DX4104 Series not only replaces the traditional VCR and multiplexer combination, it provides a solution that scales from stand-alone to networked.

    VIDEO STORAGE MANAGEMENT
User-configurable disk partitioning is used to allocate specific hard disk space for storing continuous video data and event-initiated video data. This allows you to configure the unit to allocate longer storage time for alarm and motion recorded video. All recorded video is compressed and stored using the latest H.264 compression technology.

    RECORDING MODES
The DX4104 Series supports single-event and multi-event (a combination of normal, alarm, and motion) recording. You can immediately start and stop recording through the instant recording feature. Each camera can be configured to record at a resolution, quality, and image rate specific to each recording mode. With the ability to trigger recording and in response to events (such as alarm inputs, motion detection, and video loss), the DX4104 Series becomes an automated monitoring engine as well.

    EASY USER INTERFACE
Operation of the unit is made easy through the mouse, remote control, or front panel. For surveillance applications requiring pan/tilt/zoom (PTZ) capability, the DX4104 Series addresses and controls PTZ equipment such as Spectra« domes, mini domes, or third-party cameras. The unit operates Pelco and third-party PTZ cameras that support Pelco D, Pelco P, and supported third-party protocols.

The DX4104 Series remote client is Vista-compliant and has the same look and feel as the DX8100 and DX4500/DX4600 remote clients. The remote client application includes a Web client and emergency agent application.

Video critical to investigation and archiving can be exported on the DX4104 Series server to USB or CD/DVD▒RW media. Use the exported video preview feature to verify the video content and quality. You can play back exported video at the remote client computer using the export viewer or a Microsoft« Windows«-based media player application. At the remote client, users can easily and quickly capture a video scene, save it in JPEG format, and then store it on the hard drive. Additionally, the remote client can be used to preview and search backed up video.

    NETWORK CONNECTIVITY
The DX4104 Series remote client allows live viewing and video playback for a maximum of sixteen DX4104 Series servers simultaneously. The remote client can connect to as many as 100 DX4104 Series servers.

The DX4104 Series provides a robust set of features for small- to multiple-site applications. From the incorporation of watermarking technology to prevent alterations to captured video, to the ability to capture log entries, to the inclusion of Pelco's world-renowned customer service promise, the unit embodies the ideal entry-level DVR to protect people and assets.

Retail, branch office customers, and others will benefit from its robust capabilities including the ability to capture and overlay ATM/POS text with video recording, access instant playback for quick investigative work, and the use of bidirectional audio for enhanced security.

The DX4700/DX4800 Series reduces installation overhead with out of the box recording. An intuitive interface makes custom installation easy and reduces learning time for end customers.

With a wide new range of capabilities, DX4700/DX4800 Series H.264 HVRs well suit the needs of existing analog markets and become an integral part of an efficient megapixel IP migration strategy.

    APPLICATIONS
The DX4700/DX4800 Series is perfect for customers who want higher resolution images than analog cameras can provide for specific critical areas of their business, including cash-counting, cashiers, entry/exit, or high-value merchandise areas.

Client-to-server connectivity allows operation from a remote location and can connect to as many as 100 DX Series systems simultaneously. Up to 100 systems can be added to the DX Series client site tree. Multiple DX Series clients, running on dispersed computers, can host a variety of servers in their respective site trees. The DX Series client can operate multiple DX Series systems including DX4700/DX4800, DX4100, DX4500/DX4600, DX8000, and DX8100 systems. Each server supports five simultaneous remote connections. The optional DS ControlPoint client can be used to simultaneously operate any of the current DX Series systems as well as any Integral or Digital Sentry DVR/HVR.

DX Series DVRs and HVRs offer the flexibility to meet the size and performance of industry video recording requirements. For example, small sites can use DX4100 to record and display video from 1 to 4 cameras; medium-sized sites can use DX4500/DX4600 to record and display video from 8 or 16 cameras. DX4700/DX4800 expands security by adding the value of two megapixel cameras to an analog environment of 8 or 16 cameras and the performance of 4CIF/30 ips for the DX4800 Series. Both the DX4800 and DX8100 Series units support ATM/POS recording.
