GE-Series (GigE Cameras)
The GE-Series GigE Vision cameras are very compact, high-performance machine vision cameras with Gigabit Ethernet interface (GigE Vision™). The GigE interface allows for very fast frame rates and long cable lengths (up to 100 meters). The GigE cables are easily manufactured in the field from standard CAT5e or CAT6 network cable. Applications for the GE-Series GigE Vision cameras include machine vision, industrial inspection, traffic imaging, public security, intelligent transportation systems (ITS), character recognition, robotics and surveillance, and much more. EC-Series (Firewire/IEEE 1394 Cameras)
The EC-Series cameras are ultra-compact, light-weight, firewire cameras for machine vision and industrial imaging applications. These cameras pack a lot of performance into a very small package. Designed specifically for machine vision applications in semiconductor and component inspection, manufacturing quality control, food and beverage inspection, embedded machine imaging and many other vision applications. The EC-Series camera include both CMOS and CCD based models. CV-Series (IEEE 1394 Cameras)
The CV-Series cameras are high performance CMOS-based cameras that have a full backplane of connection options including two, screw-captivated 1394 ports, TTL-level trigger in and sync-out on mini-SMB connectors, and additional trigger I/O and general purpose outputs (GPO) for controlling peripheral devices. The CV-Series cameras have specific features that make them particularly well suited to use with National Instruments products. The CV-Series is suited for general machine vision, gauging and measurement, and a host of other industrial applications.  THe CV-Series are also available with direct fiber optic output (designated CVxxxF). The CVxxxF with IEEE-1394B direct fiber-optic output and are suitable for applications where especially long cable length is required. Customers have used these cameras for crash-test monitoring, nuclear fuel rod inspection, and specialized transportation imaging. Requires either PC1394B PCI card or FA1394A Fiber Adaptor in order to interface to the host computer.
