The JAI RMC-2030GE is a compact, high-resolution (2 Megapixels) monochrome progressive scan CCD camera with a wide-screen field of view (FOV) of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The camera features a dual-tap front-end, automatic channel balancing, GigE Vision digital output, and a frame rate of 32 fps at full resolution. A single-tap mode at 17 fps is user selectable. The RMC 2030GE features the Kodak KAI-2093 1" CCD imager with a Bayer color filter array for host-based color interpolation.

The RMC2030GE delivers an outstanding signal-to-noise ratio of >57 dB in typical operation. A high performance front-end provides 12-bit linear output, or can be set to generate 10-bit/8-bit images modifiable by a patent-pending, built-in look-up table (LUT). The camera has a flexible programmable shutter capable of speeds from 1/32 to 1/16,000 second in one-line increments of 27.5 μs. Other advanced features include defective pixel compensation, and a PIV mode.

The RMC-2030GE is supported by JAI's easy-to-use SDK and Control Tool software, offering straightforward setup and full GigE Vision and GenICam compliance. The camera also integrates smoothly with a variety of third-party GigE Vision software libraries and development tools.

A non-RoHS version of the RMC-2030GE camera with lead processing (TMC-2030GE) is also available for quantity orders.

A Camera Link version of this camera is also available: RMC-2030CL.
