The HD1221 from Mackie is a 2-way powered loudspeaker that delivers high-definition audio from a lightweight and compact design. The all-wood birch cabinet houses a 12" neodymium woofer and a 1.75" titanium compression tweeter to provide crisp, natural audio reproduction with a wide frequency response. The speaker has a custom-designed rotatable 90 x 50 horn created by Martin Audio. It provides a 60° monitor angle for maximum coverage on stage.

HD1221 features include:

• Compact and lightweight cabinet is made from 15mm thick birch plywood with internal bracing and a durable black paint finish. It also has a powder-coated steel grille to protect the drivers
• Custom-designed EAW transducers include a 12" neodymium woofer and a 1.75" titanium compression tweeter to provide crisp, natural audio with a wide frequency response
• A custom-designed rotatable 90 x 50 horn created by Martin Audio lets you adjust the speaker for vertical or horizontal use
• The speaker has a 60° monitor angle for maximum coverage on stage
• Internal Class-D amplifiers with Fast Recovery circuitry provide a combined peak power of 1200W for an incredibly strong performance with low distortion. The efficient amplifier design results in extremely clean audio and high SPL levels
• Built-in HD digital processing includes patented acoustic correction, transducer time alignment and phase correction, and a precision 2-way crossover. All of these elements combine to deliver the best sound experience possible
• You can choose between 3 user-selectable voicing modes, letting you adjust the tuning and tone of the speaker to fit your specific application
• Integrated limiting and protection circuitry keep the system operating smoothly and reliably
• An integrated pole socket and 12 fly points provide versatile mounting and rigging
