The TOA ER-1000 Personal Public Address System is a lightweight and powerful speaker and headset microphone system for tour guide, instruction, job site, presentation applications, and much more. The system consists of a lightweight amplifier speaker and elastic adjustable waistband. A comfortable head-worn microphone with a cardioid capsule plugs into the amplifier for completely hands-free operation. The speaker features 6 and 10 watt modes, and a 1/8" (3.5mm) line input lets you connect MP3 players, CD players and more.
ER-1000 features include:

- Wide 300Hz-14kHz frequency range is suitable for voice and music playback
- May be used with only 4 "AA" batteries when lower (4W) output is required
- Up to 8 hrs of battery life (speech use only/6 "AA" batteries)
- Up to 5.5 hrs of battery life (using 6 "AA" NiMH rechargeable batteries)
